Kickstart or deepen your yoga practice with Elina through a series of mindful practices incorporating pranayama (breath), asana (postures) and dharana (mindfulness).
Learn simple and effective breath techniques to calm the mind and activate the parasympathetic nervous system, or the “rest and digest” mechanisms of the body
Practice foundational asanas (postures) to develop the habit of discipline, the ability to concentrate and function effectively in your daily lives.
Understand how to move the body in a safe manner to benefit the muscles, joints and the blood circulatory system.
Develop and practice mindfulness, which helps to decrease cortisol, strengthens the immune system and increases physical and psychological well-being.
This course is for you if you are looking to attain overall health through the harmonising of the physical body, mind and emotions. No experience required.

Teacher - Elina
Elina is a certified yoga instructor, mindfulness facilitator, beach and nature lover. Before yoga found her, she had a corporate marketing career where she lived and worked in London, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
Yoga and mindfulness practice has had a tremendous positive impact on her life– body, mind and spirit – and Elina wants to share this with her family/friends and beyond.
Through yoga and mindfulness, Elina learned to breathe through the pain or discomfort, gained opportunities to meet lots of wonderful like-minded people, and gave her the confidence to explore a side of her that she has not deeply looked into.

Continuously learning how to simply be, the good, the bad and the ugly, sans the “Ego”. Yoga & mindfulness is a lifestyle that she has adopted and chosen to live by.
Elina first moved to Puerto Rico in 2015 to teach yoga on the beach, and since arrived and taught yoga full time in Wellington, New Zealand in August 2016 before moving to the beautiful Queenstown on the South Island. Elina hopes to bring the joys and benefits of yoga & mindfulness through sharing the practice within the local community.
Elina teaches yoga to different physical levels and abilities and is able to intuitively tailor the flow of the class and/or offer modifications to the students she works with.
