“In gratitude, it is my pleasure to hold a sacred space for others so they too can experience their own body in a safe and nurturing environment as they connect to their Inner Healer and divine wisdom through movement and breath.”
Kathy has worked in the personal growth and health industry for many years. With a background in personal training, yoga, meditation, and massage therapy, she brings expertise and personal experience regarding anatomy, movement, breathwork, chakra and energy balancing to her yoga classes. Her life’s work has been to help others become more present and aware of the interwoven connection between the body, mind, and spirit.
In 2010, while living in Wellington, Kathy received her 200-hour yoga certification with Hot Yoga New Zealand and eventually began to teach full time for the same studio. Her class schedule included Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin style classes in addition to teaching Kids Yoga.
Over the years Kathy has continued to deepen her yogic journey on and off the mat. She received her 300-hour yoga teacher training certificate from the Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, North Carolina, USA, and also led her to attend massage school at the Asheville School of Massage and Yoga to develop the skill of nurturing touch and self-care. She incorporates these experiences and her continued education to create a yoga class that is well-rounded and integrated, inviting a sense of exploration and calm.
