Invest in Yourself

If you’re a woman in need of a break to show up better in challenging careers that have a high-stress load, this is your opportunity to invest in yourself.

Give yourself permission to reset, expand, and grow.

Do you find yourself pouring from an empty cup and giving to everyone else at the cost of your own wellbeing? This is your sign to take the break you need.

As ambitious women, we can often feel so busy getting things done that we lose touch with what we truly want. This impacts our output both professionally and personally. At times, you need a circuit-breaker: time-out to recharge your batteries and re-centre.

This is that retreat.

We invite you to dedicate time to consciously connect to your needs, body, truth and heart’s wisdom. This retreat has been curated to combat exhaustion and overwhelm. To give you the opportunity to find your calm, regulate your nervous system and build resilience to handle your everyday stress.

Professional and Personal benefits to you:

  • Conscious time to reset and allow you to show up as a ‘better’ you for your loved ones, clients, customers and staff
  • Cultivate interoception – the capacity to listen to your body’s wisdom and prevent burnout
  • Lessen the guilt of giving yourself joy and pleasure to continually boost your positive thinking
  • Find your voice: Shift from doubt and uncertainty into courage and authenticity
  • Become more present so that you relate and engage more effectively
  • Boost your confidence by strengthening your empowerment
  • Discover a system of support, guidance and free energy by deepening your connection to source-energy
  • Engage in meaningful and insightful conversations with other women and gain a tribe of female friends, supporters and future cheerleaders

Amanda Woolridge

Yoga teacher and executive Coach that began when she first arrived in Queenstown from the UK 25 years ago.

“Yoga started as a physical practice but has now become more of an intentional practice to quieten my busy thinking mind, to reconnect to my true self. When you come to one of my classes, you’ll find a key focus on breath and mindfulness. I like to encourage students to connect inwardly, to build proprioception (that sense of being in your body present to your body’s wisdom) and to connect to breath because that for me, is one of the best doorways to building awareness and creating greater choice in your life.”

“From the moment I arrived at Soulshine I knew I was going to have an amazing experience. The setting was idilic and Sandi provided us with so much learning and opportunities to connect. The yoga was both relaxing and challenging when it needed to be and the excursions they planned were fantastic. Having never been to Bali before it exceeded my expectations.

Bali Retreat FAQs

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it!

We understand that it can feel challenging to travel solo and join a group of people who are strangers but you will find most people in the same boat. What we can guarantee is that you will not feel alone. People who retreat together come together and don’t be surprised if you build new friendships that endure. That is the way of retreat. Not to mention that your retreat leaders are looking forward to getting to know you, connecting with you and making this retreat one of the best experiences of your life!

We welcome beginners who are interested in developing a yoga practice.

The morning yoga is a slow flow (yang practice) and both Sandi and Amanda will offer plenty of options so that you feel comfortable at whatever level you are at.

The evening yoga (yin practice) is more restorative. Think of it as a stretch class where you hold the poses and deepen into the body.

With all of the yoga, we will be encouraging you to do what feels comfortable and right for your body. Your intuition is always the best guide and the challenge is to allow the wisdom of your body to guide you, rather than your ego.

This is a journey all yogis.

The food at Soulshine is incredible. We will be eating fresh, organic Balinese cuisine with a western twist.

The smoothies are to die for and you’ll probably find that you want to eat and drink in a way that nourishes your body. That said, your body, your life, your retreat.

This is not a detox retreat so you are very welcome to partake in whatever nourishes you. Soulshine’s promise is, “we have got you covered to suit any craving”. Enough said.

You will need USD $35 CASH for a visa on entry into Bali (all other taxes are included in the package).

Once you have collected your baggage, you will need to make your way over to the Visa stand in Bali airport. Follow the crowd. If they’re not Balinese, they’re going there before lining up for Passport Control.
